Placerville
The question we get more than any other in Placerville: can you clean original single-pane windows without something going wrong? Yes — but slowly, by hand, and not with a pole and a lot of pressure.
A lot of Placerville glass has been in its frame a very long time. Old putty, old wood, sashes painted over more than once. That is careful work rather than fast work, and anyone quoting it like a new build has not looked properly. Downtown is a different job again — Main Street storefronts are street-level glass that gets touched all day, and they do better on a rotation than once a year.
